Discover the quickest and easiest way to read EBSCO eBooks with the EBSCO Mobile App. Users have an effortless way to download and read EBSCO eBooks from any location, with an Apple or Android device. The app enables users to download e-books and read them in the app without needing an Adobe ID or third-party software.

UMHS LMS Mobile App

The University of Medicine and Health Sciences now has an android App available for the LMS (Learning Management System). This new App provides you mobile access to many of the features, course content, and activities you find on the UMHS LMS.
(currently only available for android devices)



To set up the UMHS LMS App on your mobile device please follow these steps:
  1. Have the online App provider 'Aptoide' store on your device.
  2. Search for 'UMHS' in the Aptoide store (it is a free application)
  3. Download the App to your mobile.
  4. Login to the App with your personal LMS credentials.

Quick Mobile Medical Dx with the Access Medicine App

The Access Medicine App is now available to UMHS faculty and students for your mobile devices.

This resource contains four of the key diagnostic resources that are in Access Medicine:
  •  Quick Medical Dx & Rx
  •  Fitzpatrick's Color Atlas of Clinical Dermatology
  •  Diagnosaurus 
  •  Diagnostic Tests
Steps to set up on your mobile: 
  1. Download the App to your device.
  2. Using a browser on your device, navigate to the Access Medicine website
  3. Sign in with your personal login.
  4. Minimize this screen and now open the App
  5. Sign into the App with your personal login.
  6. It will take a minute to download and then you are go to go!

Medical Translation at the Point-of-Care with Canopy

The National Institutes of Health have developed an instant accurate translation tool for health care professionals with the new Canopy Medical Translator, currently with 15 languages and counting. Our EBSCOhost Databases are Mobile!

Now when you login to our EBSCOhost databases you will notice a new button to access a mobile friendly version of the search interface!
So now you should all be good to go!
You have mobile access to our Library Catalogue, DynaMed and now all the other EBSCO journal databases such as Medline & CINAHL with Full Text!
Check out the Toolkits as well for links to information on mobile 'Apps' for medicine and nursing.
