Framework for Global Adaption of Practice Guidelines
The ADAPTE framework is a systematic tool to aid in the adaptation of clinical practice guidelines across organizations, cultures and even countries.Since the development and updating of high-quality practice guidelines requires substantial resources, a streamlined adaptation framework can be useful for customizing to suit the local context and increase the quality and applicability of recommendations.The ADAPTE framework is supported by training resources [with registration] and is intended to be used by guideline developers, health care providers and policy makers alike; at local, national and international levels.
